Hewlett Packard Enterprise

On November 1, 2015, Hewlett-Packard divided into 2 companies, Hewlett Packard Enterprise and HP Inc

The PC and printer business became HP Inc, and the rest of us became Hewlett Packard Enterprise.

My job function remained the same where I am part of Mission Critical Proactive Support and serves as Support Automation Technical Country Lead for Denmark.

"HPE eService Delivery / Connected Products" is a portfolio of technology-based solutions that assist customers at all service levels with the purpose to help manage their entire business environment - from the desktop to the data center. It combines people, processes, and technologies to deliver a seamless support experience that helps customers to maximize availability of their evolving environment.

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (commonly referred to as HPE) is an American multinational enterprise information technology company based in Palo Alto, California, founded on 1 November 2015 as part of splitting of the Hewlett-Packard company. HPE is a business-focused organization with four divisions: Enterprise Group, which works in servers, storage, networking, consulting and support; Services; Software; and Financial Services.

The split was structured so that the old Hewlett-Packard changed its name to HP Inc. and spun off Hewlett Packard Enterprise as a newly created company. HP Inc., which retained the old HP's personal computer and printing business, retained the old HP's stock-price history and the original NYSE ticker symbol for Hewlett-Packard, while Enterprise trades under its own ticker symbol: HPE. According to notes from 2015, HPE's revenue was slightly less than that of HP Inc. In 2017 it spun off its Enterprise Services business to become DXC Technology.
